Global Landscape Forum

The 2016 Global Landscapes Forum: Climate Action for Sustainable Development will bring global commitments to the local level.

Five hundred select experts and leaders – and thousands more engaged online – will define the future of land use alongside COP22 in Marrakesh, translating ambitious policies into workable solutions:
  • Countries have made commitments to climate action. Now where do we start?
  • Around 70% of people now live in cities – good or bad news for sustainable development?
  • There are numerous political pledges on restoration – but does science think it’s doable?
  • Global climate and development goals promote women’s rights, yet national policy rarely takes a gender lens. Why?
These are just some of the questions that will be discussed at GLF in Marrakesh on 16 November 2016. Do you have others?
