The Wildlife Conservation Society – Indonesia Program (WCS-IP) has significantly grown over the last decades, and contributed substantially to the conservation of biodiversity in Indonesia. We currently work in several landscapes in Sumatera and Sulawesi where we aim at protecting threatened species and their habitat. In order to achieve our overall goal of saving wildlife and wild places, WCS-IP is currently seeking for qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy:
Position : Marine Administration Assistant
Based in : Bogor office
Reports to : Marine Program Officer
Coordinates with : Marine Program Officer, Program Manager, and Coordinators
Contract period : One year, with renewal depending upon performance
Summary of Terms of Reference
Marine Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, clerical services, as well other administration tasks related to Marine Program. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure the administration and finance operations are maintained in an effective and efficient manner.
Tasks
The employee will work with Marine Program Officer, Program Manager, and Coordinators, and other staff to:
- Organize and be responsible for meetings which includes internal meetings, workshops, and trainings
- Coordinate all logistic aspects for meetings preparation such as develop budgets, travel itineraries, lodging arrangement, etc
- Provide secretarial services for marine program managers and coordinators
- Undertakes other tasks as deemed necessary in line with the goal of providing management support to Marine Program Managers
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of administrative management experience
- Diploma degree in office administration, secretary or equivalent experience in similar position
- Computer skills mandatory. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Good administrative management skills
- Able to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to work effectively under time pressure
- Good oral and written communication skills. English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Concern about wildlife and environmental protection
